Lee oversees the business strategies, technical execution, and relationships with financial partners. Prior to founding Windridge in 2016, Lee served as VP of Exploration at Abraxas Petroleum, where he supervised both conventional and unconventional prospect generation and execution in basins including the Williston, Powder River, Anadarko, Permian and Texas Gulf Coast. Before Abraxas, he founded an independent exploration and production company, Sandia Oil & Gas Corp. Lee holds geology degrees from Texas A&M University (B.S. and PhD.) and Colorado School of Mines (M.S.). He is very active in professional organizations, including AAPG where he served as President (2006/2007).
Matt Billingsley | Vice President | Partner
Matt is responsible for implementing and overseeing all geologic functions related to prospect generation and evaluation, asset development, and overall business development strategies. Prior to founding Windridge in 2016, Matt worked as a geologist at California Resources Corporation (CRC) and Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OXY), where he worked a variety of conventional, unconventional, and waterfloods assets in the Middle Magdalena Basin (Colombia), Williston Basin, and San Joaquin Basin. Matt holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University and M.S. in Geology from Colorado School of Mines and is an active member of AAPG and STGS.
